Description

It is a black to brown solid that naturally occurs as the mineral pyrolusite, which is the main ore of manganese . This compound is widely used in various applications, including as a component in dry-cell batteries, pigments, and as a catalyst in organic synthesis.

Application

• As the Oxidizing Agent in the fine chemical production process;

• Good decolorizing agent in glass industry;

• Raw material of Fe Mn alloy in steel-making industry;

• Also used in fireworks, the purification of water, fertilizer and fabric printing and dyeing.
